CARAVAN OF PEACE (DVD)

This is a 12 minute DVD. The idea of a Peace Caravan was born out of the idea that Kenya as a country was in a crucial stage and was likely to experience difficult times as a result of the impending 2007 elections.  MYWO considered very crucial to pass on the message of peace through the streets of Nairobi just days before the elections. The message was that we are mothers to all Kenyans, irrespective of one's political affiliation and that together, we can cross this important bridge without losing lives.

Rite of Passage (Video)

This is a special 15 minutes programme on female circumcision, which documents the success story of a village in Tharaka Nithi district, in Eastern province of Kenya.

Secret and Sacred (Video)

Secret and Sacred is a 34-minute video, which provides a rare insight into the practice of female circumcision/Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Kenya.

Healthy Futures (Magazine)

Healthy Futures is a 30 minutes video which addresses the problems that girls face in their quest for primary completion in five selected- districts. The districts are: Koibatek. Bungoma, Kilifi, Kuria, and Kibera slum and Nairobi suburb.
